_DATE: 06/17/2007 17:16:10 / MOOD: Happy “Rizzo Jenkins…Come On DOWN… Your the next contestant on the Price Is Right!!!” For 24 of my 29 years I have been waiting to hear those words. I love the price is right. Bob Barker was the man. Bob Barker’s last show was on Friday. He will be missed. He is the only host I’ve known on the show. Who will take over. What a great game shows. The forerunner for all the game shows that have come after. And none of them come close. What great games they had. Lucky seven, the dice game, check out, and the classic the best PLINKO.  AND what about the beauties. Someone will need to comfort them. I volunteer. AND Help control the pet population.. Have your pets spaded or neutered!

HARRY POTTER

I saw the new Harry Potter movie tonight/this mornings…EEHHHH. It was a great movie for what it was a movie about Harry Potter and the plot of the book. BUT they changed things from the book. Small things but important things. They cut a lot but they had to to make it a two hour movie but to change how certain things happened. The directors of these movies should all take a page from the Peter Jackson book of book movie making… Stay to the book.

MR. WIZARD

If you’re over the age of 25 you probably watched Nickelodeon in the 80’s. Which means you probably watched Mr. Wizard’s World.  Don Herbert was Mr. Wizard since 1951 when he started the show on NBC. And then again in 1983 on Nickelodeon. But I can not do the man justice here fortunately you can go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Wizard and read about him.   I use to watch Mr. Wizard’s World every morning before school. Its were I got my love for science and asking “WHY” and wanting to know how things worked. He made it so cool and so fun that I loved it. I learned everything from the properties of helium, the uses of leavers, pulleys, wedges and wheels, and optical illusions. I really wanted to be “Jimmy” at one time. Hey I was five.   On June 12 2007, Don Herbert passed away from cancer. He was one month shy from his 90th birthday. For all the young scientist who were inspired to learn, and make cool shit out of household items, we will miss you.

TRANSFORMERS

We all have been waiting since 1984 to see a live action movie of our favourite toy/cartoon and … OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! What a great movie. The action was awesome. It was a total Michael Bay film. Tons of action and explosions but it worked with the way they made Transformers. Autobots and Decepticons kicking the crap out of each other. Shooting each other and punching and kicking each other. When Optimus Prime drives up and transforms it was so cool. WOW. When he says “Autobots Roll Out” I had chills. When Prime and Megatron first face off I imagined I was 7 again and was playing with my friends in his kitchen. BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
